40 acres. BRC controls 432,612 SF of space which
includes 256,333 SF of single story in-line shop space and a
2 story anchor space previously occupied by J.C. Penney.
Montgomery Mall is located in Montgomery, Alabama at the
intersection of U.S. Highway 231 and South Boulevard, south
and east of downtown. The property is readily accessible
from Interstates 85 and 65, the two interstate highways serving
the Montgomery area.
The site is being readapted for medical/educational/governmental
focused uses. Local municipal governments and civic
groups actively support efforts to transform the former retail
site into a reenergized community destination. BRC is working
with these groups to create a project which serves the
needs of the citizens of greater Montgomery, especially those
living in the south Montgomery area.
