- Tanger sells Commerce, Ga. outlet center
Atlanta-based Blue Ridge Capital said on July 8 that it had purchased Tanger Town Centre in Commerce, Ga., and renamed the project Shoppes at Banks Crossing. The purchase price hasn’t been disclosed.
The 163,250-sf center, which opened in 1989, is on Highway 441 just off Interstate 85. Tanger Factory Outlet Centers continues to operate a 15-year-old, 370,582-sf outlet center on the southwest quadrant of the same intersection.
Shoppes at Banks Crossing is 50 percent occupied; its 14 tenants include Aaron Rents, Dollar Tree and Georgia Theatre.
